Wreck Diving Course at Mermet Springs
November 18 & 19, 2017
Mermet Springs, located in Southern Illinois, is a 8.5 acre lake hosting a variety of sunken artifacts including a 727 airplane fuselage. We'll be using the 727 as our wreck to survey and penetrate. Your instructor, Phil Tobin, will greet you on Saturday morning at 8am at the Quarry (it's recommended that you drive down the night before) to begin the course. The two day course will include 4 wreck dives and PADI certification upon completion.
Equipment you'll need:
Regulator and alternate air source, BCD, SPG and computer, tanks, weights, wetsuit, hood and gloves, mask, snorkel, fins and boots, pony bottle, mounting hardware, 2nd regulator with SPG, 2-150' line reels, 2 flashlights
Because of the additional risk involved with an overhead environment we will not allow students to use rental equipment. You must be familiar with your equipment.
Course Fees: $180.00
