If you’re not sure which specialties to sign up for you can sample them first by participating in an Adventure Dive. The premise of the Adventure Dive program is to allow a diver to do the first dive of any specialty course. By taking an Adventure Dive you’ll know what to expect in the full certification course, you’ll only have to commit to and pay for one dive, you’ll have completed one of the required dives for that specialty and best of all, the dive you do can count toward either the Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water certification. You do not have to have your Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water certification to sample a Specialty course even if the full certification course requires those certifications.
Adventure Dives are only $30.00 per dive and are scheduled on the 2nd or 4th weekends May through October. Registration is required at least 2 weeks in advance. |
